Kelechi Amaeshi

Kelechi Amaeshi is an objective-driven business development facilitator with a keen interest in change management, strategy articulation & execution, process management and business-to-business communication. He has over two decades of useful experience cutting across development and business sectors in Nigeria, including aviation, free trade facilitation, consulting and informal sector development.
Having joined NAHCO Plc in 2007 as Executive Assistant to the Managing Director/CEO, Kelechi has traversed key business areas of NAHCO ground handling business, including operations, commercial, relationship management, and project & product development. In many instances, he has been deployed as task manager to address key and specific enterprise challenges with proven and outstanding results.
Until his current position as Head, Key Accounts Management, he worked as the General Manager/Head of Business of Nahco Free Zone (a subsidiary of NAHCO Plc), Head of Customer Experience, Commercial & Business Development, Cargo Services & Cargo Ramp, and Africa Expansion & Special Services at different periods. He was also Manager, Business Development & Communication as well as Crew Transportation before meritoriously serving as Customer Relationship Manager for NAHCO’s clients from Europe & America.
To balance his robust experience of the ground handling business, Kelechi was later deployed to manage NAHCO’s operations as Business Manager for Abuja station, Murtala Mohammed Airport (MMA2) station Lagos, & Port Harcourt International Airport Stations, respectively.
Kelechi is a proud alumnus of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, the German Technical Commission (GTZ) (CEFE-certified business consultant), West African Institute for Finance & Economic Management – WAIFEM – (grooming small enterprise), etc and numerous industry leadership and certifications including IATA Ground Station Management, IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreement (SGHA) & Negotiation, IATA Temperature Sensitive Cargo Management & Process Audit, authentic Leadership, etc.
A passionate business & management planner, Kelechi is also a Fellow of the Institute of Planning Nigeria (IPN).
